Pray for Church Leaders

Prayer Focus for Summer: Pray for Church Leaders:

-That righteousness will prevail in every level of church government

-For spirit-filled leaders who acknowledge the Lord in all that they do

-For the righteous foundations of the Anglican Church of Canada to be Honoured

-For unity and a common vision to see the Church of Canada fulfill her destiny

-That church leaders will fear God and not man

-That the Anglican Church will choose the way of righteousness and truth even if it is costly

-That the Lord will show Himself strong on behalf of those who make a stand for nghteousness

-That leaders will not compromise on the truth for the sake of a false unity

-That there will be true heartfelt repentance from tnose who have strayed from the plumb line of Scripture

-That the Lord will give wisdom to the Federation and Network leaders as they seek to do His will

-Pray that they will have ears to hear and eyes to see what the Spirit is saying to the church

-Pray for the Body that we will: produce good fruit for the Kingdom in every area of ministry, to be a people of prayer, a light to our communities and a witness of God's love, be cheerful givers for the ongoing ministry of the church.

Praying Psalm 23
Thank you, Lord, that you are my Shepherd, to watch over, protect and guide me. Thank you that I have all I need, because you are Jehova Jireh, my provider.

Thank you Lord for those still and peaceful waters that calm and refresh my soul and for the rest I find in those green pastures. I receive that strength that you pour into me as I rejoice in you. I put my hand in yours and I will never be afraid or be in dread because you are always with me, even in dark places and times of trouble your comforting presence is there. With your rod you protect me and with your staff you guide my steps.

I praise and thank you Lord that even in times of warfare, when I am faced with attacks from the enemy your provision of victory is there and your angels watch over me, so my feet do not trip. You are the Bread of life and I will never be in want in any situation, because you are my Saviour and my very life.

I ask you Lord to continue to pour out the oil of your anointing upon me so that all my life I will carry your sweet fragrance. Thank you too for that anointing oil that breaks and destroys the yoke of the enemy. May I always be mindful of your goodness and unfailing love and as you minister to me, may I minister the same to others. I want to walk with you always Lord, to dwell in your presence and to worship at your throne. Do in me, Lord, whatever is needful to keep me on the right path.
